RELAX

This private, restored mid-century beauty is an ideal Instagram backdrop and also the perfect place to pretend it’s 1953 and ignore your phone entirely. You choose! If you go for the photo opps, the outdoor area is a go-to, with dramatic mountain views rising behind the palm trees and glimmering blue water and a row of chaise loungers (hint hint: add the hashtag #villacampana to your photos!).

Inside, wall-long sliding glass creates true indoor/outdoor living, with a powder-aqua sectional sofa (which includes a full-size sofa sleeper) and statement chairs, plus the flagstone gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV.

DINE

On the other side of the sliding glass, dine al fresco while overlooking the saltwater pool and the desert mountains. With seating for 8 and a gas grill, sun-drenched BBQs are easy here. Hedged-block privacy walls, calming gardens, vibrant Bougainvillea and lush, cool lawn create an utterly tranquil setting.

The full kitchen includes the showpiece pink fridge, plus a dishwasher and gas range and a collection of small appliances like a coffee maker, coffee grinder, electric kettle, blender and toaster. A mirrored wet bar supplies your cocktail and wine glasses.

SLEEP

The traditional ranch layout includes two bedrooms at each end of Villa Campana, with the living, dining and kitchen between the two wings. This setup is great for couples getaways, two families, business trips, or any group that needs a little distance from each other. Togetherness is great, but sometimes you need a little space!

The west wing is home to the master suite (dual king) and one guest bedroom (dual king), each with a private full bath and closet.  On the east wing are two more guest bedrooms, one with a dual king and the other with a full bed + pullout single. The two east wing bedrooms share a full bath with glass-enclosed shower.

Each bedroom features colorful, paradise patterns and prints and flat-screen TVs.

Villa Campana is located just one block from Palm Canyon Drive in the coveted Uptown Design District/Old Las Palmas, home to authentic mid-century architecture,  celebrity estates and boutiques, plus your pick of must-try restaurants, bars and other goodies, including arguably the best tiki bar and coffeehouse in Palm Springs. Hop on the shuttle nearby, too.

Despite being near the bustle, the neighborhood and villa itself are tucked away in a landscaped haven that’s quiet, private, and serene. It’s the best of both worlds!
